A residential site in the Longbridge area of Birmingham, suited to a small, well-specified collection of family homes rather than high-density output.
The RockTower approach
The layout was designed around family living: a stylish kitchen and dining area overlooking a bay window, a living room with direct access to the rear garden, and generous shared spaces on the first floor across every house type.
Design, planning and delivery
Four house types were delivered. Oakwood, five-bedroom detached with two ensuites, one bathroom and a garage. Cedarwood, four-bedroom detached with one ensuite, one bathroom and a garage. Pinewood, four-bedroom semi-detached with two ensuites, one bathroom and a garage. Beechwood, four-bedroom semi-detached with one ensuite, one bathroom and a garage or double car port.
Outcome
Nine family houses completed in December 2019.
